Mount Carmel College in Escalante City (MCCEI) is ready for school year 2020-2021.
Amid the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, MCCEI announced that it is prepared to address the learning needs of its students without them having to skip the school year because of the pandemic.
Rev. Fr. Fernando Lopez, O.Carm., MCCEI President, revealed that as per the decision of the school board of the Carmelite schools in the Philippines, the institution will adapt the blended learning approach to education that will make use of online as well as offline resources depending on the needs and the capabilities of the students.
Online classes will be administered to K-12 and college students who have access to the internet through their mobile gadgets or through a personal computer, while for those who have no access to the internet, an offline-learning modality will be implemented. Printed learning packets or modules will be given to the students for home study, which will then be collected by the school every other week.
As of the moment, online enrollment is going on. Enrollment forms could be accessed at the Facebook page of the college and payments can be made through bank (Banco De Oro and United Coco Planters Bank) or through mobile payment application, GCash.
Online enrollment will be until July 31, 2020.
