The spiritual community is an essential life source for our continued growth, as this is where we derive nourishment and support. It is also here, among brothers and sisters, that we practice extensively as Christian communicators.
In “The Way of Perfection,” St. Teresa emphasizes three qualities that can be transformed into approaches of communication spirituality: detachment, love of neighbor, and humility.
This public lecture will examine these three communicative qualities at play in our daily experiences in community, as well as identify some barriers to life-giving communication, as aligned with St. Teresa’s writings.
Let us join Ms. Angela Blardony Ureta, aO.Carm., an associate of the Philippine Province of the Order of Carmelites, in a free webinar entitled “Approaches to Communication Spirituality in Community Life via Teresa of Avila’s The Way of Perfection.” October 24, Saturday, 2 to 3:30 PM.
