Creating an encounter with Christ for 72 years
On this day in 1950, Fr. Marcel Roussel Galle founded the Missionary Workers of the Immaculate, starting what is now called the Society of Apostolic Life Donum Dei. They were affiliated to the Carmelite Order on February 22, 1987.
They arrived in the Philippines in 1981 and, as part of their ministry, they operate L’Eau Vive in Asia, a French restaurant that primarily serves as a venue for an encounter with Christ, more like the encounter of the Samaritan woman with Jesus at Jacob’s well.
Join us in praying for our sisters of the Society of Apostolic Life Donum Dei, that they would continue to prosper in their ministry in bringing the Living Water to those thirsting for an encounter with Christ through their various ministries and apostolates.
