It is with great sadness, but with faithful trust in God’s mercy and love, that we, the Carmelites (O.Carm.) in the Philippines, announce the death of our brother, our Provincial Councilor and the Parish Priest of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, Fr. Pedro Manilag Jr., O.Carm., 49.
He expired at Democrito O. Plaza Memorial Provincial Hospital in Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur due to pneumonia at 7:45 pm on May 20, 2021.
The Philippine Carmelite Province of Bld. Titus Brandsma joins his bereaved family, friends, and parishioners in praying for his eternal repose.
May he rest in peace and be raised up in glory.
